Welcome to Family & Children’s Center’s web site!
Family & Children’s Center is one of northern Indiana’s
major non-profit human services agencies. Founded as an orphanage
in 1882, today we serve thousands of children and families throughout
the region.
Family & Children’s Center is dedicated to strengthening the emotional and behavioral health of the communities it serves, with special emphasis on the needs of children and families. As you will discover as you explore
this site further, our affiliates serve our community by providing
a broad range of valuable programs and services including:
• After-school programming through Boys
& Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County
• Residential and day treatment for emotionally disturbed youth
through The
Children’s Campus
• Individual and group counseling through Family
& Children’s Center Counseling and Development Services
Our common goal is to lead the way to better lives for those we
serve.
Family & Children’s Center’s vision is to emerge as
a regional leader in strengthening the area’s children, families
and communities through signature quality human services and creative
partnerships. We are always looking for new and better ways to make
our programs and services more relevant, more successful and more
